This is a list compiled by asking our departments what they need at the moment, the parts in bold are items we need the most. As an independent charity all of the funds that allow us to do our work come from donations and sponsorship, if you can help us with any donations we will be very grateful.

For our members general use:

Tressle Tables - for functions so we do not have to move tables from all around the Centre, what we really need are light tables which are easy to store.

Back wash basin for hairdressing

For the old people's Day Centre, we need some comfortable armchairs.

If anyone has some nice pictures, we would be very grateful for them, they will be displayed around the Centre.

A conference table and some large chairs would be perfect for when we hold large meetings, and meet companies new to our work.

We also require help to provide the classic herb garden we are creating, which will provide soothing views for those that can see, and scents for all. As with everything we are happy to receive the items themselves or donations for them, but if you send us seeds please include some instructions as to what they are and what they smell like!

Any computers will be gratefully received, we require some more in our Employment Training department, and others with less equipment for staff and members to use.

Jaws for Windows - Five user licence - Jaws brings speech functions to Windows 95 (£1,695.00)

2 x 486 Computers. Complete these will have: network card, DOS, Works for Windows, 17" monitors, Keyboard and Mouse, but we are happy for whatever you have.

1 x Lexis Reading system v2 - Scanner unit which converts text to speech (£750.00)

1 x Hal 5 screen reader - this software speaks what is on the screen in Dos programmes (£210.00)

10 x Work station copy holder with base - these will let our members being trained have their notes close to their faces, rather than flat on the desk which means they have to bend down read them (£299.90)
