The Brighton Society for the Blind is an independent charity, which means we do not automatically receive money from the social services, although we do occasionally obtain grants from them for particular items. We are funded by donations, and are always happy to receive donations from people and organisations, which will go towards the constant improvement of our services for the blind and partially sighted.
We would like to thank all of the people who have helped us in the past,
with their donations, sponsorship and time. You have helped us help
people with partial sight for over a hundred years, most recently with
the building of the Sussex Vision Centre. We and our members are very
grateful for what you have done.
Wish List -
Some of our departments have put together a
wish list of equipment they need.
If you can provide any of this we would be very grateful, and money
raised will be buying these items.
Books on Tape Appeal - our library needs more reading matter, can you help us with donations of tapes?
Current fund raising projects - has information about what we are fund raising for at the moment.
Events - gives details of upcoming events the Centre and our members are involved in.
Past Events - has reports on some of our more recent events in the Centre.
Fund Pack - this section has various ideas for sponsored events, and links to arrange for sponsor forms.
