Half the problem with fund raising is coming up with something to do, this section of the web site hopes to help with ideas and inspiration. If you have any extra ideas, please mail them to us and they will be added to this section.

To start with, here are a few of the standard ideas:

Sponsored run / bike ride / swim - Would you like to carry out a sponsored sporting event? It lets people show how fit they are, or gives people extra motivation for becoming fit. Perhaps you've always wanted to run a marathon, but have never felt you've had a good enough reason to try. If you were raising money for a charity, wouldn't that be a good enough reason?

Extreme events - Have you ever felt like doing something very stupid? How about bungee jumping? Or parachuting? Abseiling? Being sponsored gives you the perfect excuse to do things that would normally get you branded a nutter. And if you inform the organisers of your sponsorship, you could get a discount on your jump/event.

For official sponsor forms for any of these events, please contact us either through this e-mail link or through the address / phone number below. Master forms can either be posted to you, or e-mailed in a variety of formats.

Standard events - You don't have to go mad to raise funds, things like coffee mornings and raffles are excellent ways to raise money. Raffle prizes will often be donated by local companies when it is for a good cause.

Casual dress day - If your company charges for the occasional casual dress day, will you please consider us for some of the money. If you have never heard of this system, some companies allow staff to come in on the last Friday of the month in casual clothes if they pay a set sum to charity, e.g. a pound, (if you turn up in smart clothes you get charged more!) If you are an organiser for this in your company, or would like to be, we would like to hear from you.

Please contact us before any events so we can organise some publicity and photographs, and so we can thank you properly. If you have a specific event in mind we can create sponsor forms for you and help with gaining sponsorship.
