In our Craft Department we offer many original and creative activities - ranging from Basket Weaving, Painting, Fantasy Film Flowers, Sewing, Loom Weaving, Knitting, Greeting Card Making, Drawing, amongst many more - all these activities offering those who have various limitations to express themselves, create original gifts and possessions all of their own. The activities are overseen by a highly skilled Craft teacher, along with assistants, helping where needed, and lending support and encouragement. While our range of activities is extensive, we welcome new input, and are happy to facilitate new activities according to the wishes and needs of both existing and new members. The Craft Department has several events during the year including, Christmas Lunch, Easter Bonnet or Basket competition along with others, it's a great social opportunity, every session preceded by a cup of tea, coffee, biscuits etc, where much of the world is put to rights!
