The Art & Craft department teaches painting, basketweaving and various other activities. As you can see from the impressive results, having little or no sight does not have to be a barrier to creating beautiful art and objects.

Not only does the department help members express themselves artistically, keep their hands dexterous and teach them useful skills, it also acts as a useful social meeting place, in addition to the social club.

We have various pictures of the members creating their paintings, the art is best summed up by seeing it, and we have a gallery of finished paintings, and of some of the excellent woven work our members have completed. Finally are pictures of various works, such as needlework, toys and collages.
