Many people do not realise that regular donations to Registered Charities are tax deductible - and that the smallest of amounts can make the world of difference. Probably the easiest way to help fund our work is to make a secure online donation, which is now made possible by the kind people at Just Giving, who had arranged for anyone who wishes to donate funds to us, if you would like to help us this way then please use this button below and follow the easy options on that page - and our huge thanks to you for your kindness and generosity! For example, if you decided to make a Standing Order to The Lantern for just £5 per month - you might never notice it in the background, but as a Registered Charity, if you were one of many - we would certainly notice it and be further able to help those in need. Should you wish to help us in this way, Standing Order forms are available on request from Gloria Wright at The Lantern or there is a printable online copy coming soon here. Another option is a Deed of Covenant - as you know all too well, we all pay income tax every year - this option allows you to make a donation to The Lantern FROM that tax - so you don't part with any more, the Inland Revenue gets a little less - and we are further funded to help people in need. These forms are available from Gloria Wright or there is a printable online copy coming soon here. We've discussed regular donations, but we thoroughly value one or occasional donations - if you wish to give any amount (please don't think small is no good, every £10 that comes into our funding helps us to help others, it really all does add up) then we will gratefully receive it and use it to good purpose. Even if you can't help us at this time, we would like to thank you for taking the time to read this and being aware of us.
